This '53 Parkie Mosienko card was trimmed on its right border, as highlighted in orange. Although neither of the two documented sales of this card in VCP included a reverse photo, it has two distinct print marks that appear on no other images of examples of this card. First, a very distinct yellow fisheye appears above the player's right knee pad. Second, a very small black print dot on the skin of his upper chest. Both have been circled in green, confirming the PSA 8 card purchased by Johnny Adams and then trimmed is indeed the same as the PSA 9 first sold through PWCC. This PSA 9 was later sold a second time through PWCC on 7/27/16 for $1,075.00. The card is presently in a PSA Set Registry owned by collector Robert Meyer.
Please note: The "before" image I used from this card in its PSA 8 holder (cert #21799216) is from its sale on 10/5/2013 to bgm560*, who then sold it to johnnyadamsjr on 12/19/2013. The dark background of the earlier image is superior for viewing the size of the card's white borders. Both sales can be viewed in the VCP link of the PSA 8 sale below.
