Fake RUth patches are the worst. Don’t let a psa or beckett slab fool you, just becuase it’s slabbed doesn’t mean the patch itself is legit. These are all fake. The person who made these back in the early 2000’s would put a small corner patch in so people would not suspect anything. We all know there were no prime patches in Topps sterling and there were no prime patches in the /100 2003 Donruss classics run.
Invest smarter and keep your eyes out for those who would deceive you.

Just a heads up - Fake/altered Ruth patch
This has been shared a few times but I again wanted to share it since it seems to keep resurfacing with new owners. There have been 3 of these fake Ruth patches surface to date. All with the same style corner patch. This set did not have Ruth prime patches. It is well known what sets had Ruth prime pieces and what sets did not. In addition I have shown in previous posts the material in this PSA 9 Ruth is not the same as materials seen in the normal unaltered versions.
Just a reminder to all. PSA authenticates the card itself not the material. PSA, BGS, SGC, etc do not authenticate the relics for these cards.
If you ever have a questionable card and want to verify with a second opinion give our patch identification group a try.
