1921 E121 American Caramel Series of 80 "Babe" Ruth SGC 4.5 to SGC 4 (w/ PWCC-HE sticker)

Value gain: $9,658.00!
This classic Babe Ruth card actually lost half a point when it was regraded with SGC, but still gained close to $10,000 in value in less than a year. I think this gain in value speaks in part to the marketing power of the PWCC High End (PWCC-HE) stickers, one of which this card has been awarded.
This is the second of the Ruths from this series sold in altered form in a PWCC auction, the first found back in Post #3405. Although not as drastic as the changes in that Ruth, this card had stains removed and a corner which appears to be artificially rounded by the card doctor prior to its second grading with SGC. Evidence of this can be found below in the third, detailed image comparison.
The red circles on the full frontal images show print marks which are shared by both images, confirming they are of the same card. The purple box on the "before" image highlights the brown stain that was removed.
