There are a number of my markups on the image below, so let me explain. First, look at the red area marked on the PSA 2. Now compare to the same area on the SGC 1. This discoloration on the PSA 2 is evidence of damage from the chemical soaking of the card. The pink boxes on the front are areas where the black border was damaged either during the handling or during the chemical soaking of the card. You can see a lot more damage on the PSA 2 than the SGC 1. Finally, on the back there is a yellow box. That is either scrapbook residue removed from the SGC 1, or an area where the card doctor recolored the card. During soaking, the black color from the back bled into the other areas of scrapbook damage as well.
The card doctor failed to achieve his goals, and the card was a money loser for the buyer, who purchased it with Gary Moser's whitman111 eBay ID. Was the doctor of this card Moser, Brent Huigens himself, or another party working with Moser and/or Huigens?
