August 21, 2026 • PSA 10 cert# 78971107 • ALT → • Alt currently is auctioning a high-end McDavid card that is fake. A BGS 9.5 sold for over $50k • so this could be a very big sale since it's PSA 10 + Auto 10. The problem is that this card is 100% fake • and looks to be the result of a very professional operation.

Evidence: This exact card (29/97) already sold in 2025 and can be viewed in CardLadder. To determine which is the correct one • I compared autographs and numbering to other known examples. It's clear that the one currently listed by Alt is fake • though it's certainly a world-class attempt to counterfeit McDavid's signature. The angle of the auto is slightly off • all the legit copies are done with streaky ink • and the '7' in the '97' numbering is also done differently. I did a cert lookup on PSA site and it looks like the PSA grade is legit (i.e. • PSA failed to catch this one). I've shared this evidence with Alt • but they've decided to keep the auction running • because PSA authenticated the card. I've also shared with PSA • but it'll take time to investigate.
