On May 23, 2024 and again on October 5, 2024, a 2018 Donruss Optic Green Autograph Cal Ripken Jr. #2/5 WITHOUT an autograph was sold on eBay. Scammer cbgames504 bought the card during the October 5 sale and placed a real Ripken autograph sticker that was removed from another (presumably lesser valued) card and sold it on November 9, 2024. Now the buyer of the card with the peeled sticker autograph has gotten the card graded and apparently PSA did not care that a.) the autograph sticker shows obvious signs of tampering and b.) these were on-card autographs, not stickers.
