Consigned to PWCC and sold on 9/4/2014 as a PSA 9 for $2,800.04

The right edge of the 1949 Bowman Gil Hodges card had an original rough factory cut which was mostly trimmed off by the card doctor (see area boxed in green). This was one of the roughest natural edges I've seen on a high grade '49 Bowman, and creating a more even look helped boost this card's grade from a PSA 8 to a PSA 9 after the trimming was missed by PSA. Common paper fibers and print marks are circled in purple. Please note that VCP did not save a reverse image of the PSA 8. The bottom portion of the slab did not appear in the original front image of the PSA 8 as sold by eBay seller jams_vintage_cards, therefore the slab appears cut off.
