1948 Leaf #149 Henry Majeski SGC 5 to PSA 5

Sold on 5/14/2016 as a SGC 5 (as part of a larger lot) by Heritage Auctions to an unknown buyer
Consigned to PWCC and sold on 3/12/2019 as a PSA 5 for $376.00

Like the previous card I posted, this is another 1948 Leaf baseball card which was originally purchased as part of a Heritage Auctions lot that contained both graded and ungraded material from that set. Its SGC 5 case was cracked, and the card was trimmed on its left edge and resubmitted to PSA. Despite the trimming, the card doctor received the same grade from PSA and the untrimmed card originally earned from SGC.
The light blue boxes show the difference in white border size pre- and post-trimming. The green circles are print marks/paper fibers which allow us to know it is the same card. Once again, I omitted the line about the value gained because this card was purchased in a lot.
