Sold on 12/2/2014 as a PSA 6.5 by PWCC to eBay user o***3 (an unknown masked ID) for $460.55
Consigned to PWCC and sold on 4/10/2017 as a PSA 7 for $538.86
Final price: $538.86
Value gain: $78.31
In the previous post, I showed a 1948 Leaf Johnny Pesky card that was altered by whitman111/Gary Moser, graded, and then sold through PWCC. This card is also altered, then graded, and finally sold through PWCC. However, the buyer's masked eBay ID is o***3. Whitman111 is masked w***1 in Vintage Card Prices, the main website used by those researching the origin of altered cards. Please note that this is at least the second altered card sold through PWCC purchased first by o***3. Corndog found a Cy Young card that was bleached and recolored after o***3's purchase in Post #3794 of this thread.
