Sold on 6/12/2014 as a PSA 1 by Huggins and Scott Auctions to an unknown buyer for $5,628.75
Consigned to PWCC and sold on 10/7/2015 as a PSA 1.5 for $9,900.00
Value gain of $4,271.25

This Mantle was cracked out of its PSA 1 case and had work done to minimize the wrinkling/creases by pressing them out and remove some dirt using chemicals. (See the images below for details.)
The red circles show marks and corner dirt that has been chemically removed. Remember, the card doctor's goal is not to make the card perfect, it is to do just enough work to get it past the grader while bumping the card's grade. In this case, a half-point bump was successful in earning the card doctor more money. It is unknown at this time the identity of this card doctor or who bought the card in a PSA 1 holder from Huggins and Scott Auctions.
