Card: 1909 E90-1 American Caramel, Roger Bresnahan.
Alterations: Chemically bleached, pressed & corners reformed, back damaged due to the chemical cleaning.
Yellow circles are the common print marks/flaws between both cards.
Blue boxes show the stain removal on the front and back of the card.
Red boxes show the corners visibly altered and reformed.
Sold by PWCC (as SGC 40/3) on April 5, 2015 for $152.50 to Moser's whitman111 account.
Description: "Well centered with four even corners. A few faint creases prevent a higher technical grade." (small crease visible from the scan along the left border. Likely pressed flat after soaking in the chemical bath.)
Re-sold by PWCC (as a PSA 4) on May 7, 2017 for $195.02.
Description: "Exceptional E90-1 Bresnahan which boasts virtually EXMT qualities. Beautifully centered with strong card stock and crisp edges. The print, color and focus show extremely well for the issue." (No mention of creases.)
