Prior Grade: SGC 1 cert# 8210281-001
Card: 1911 D304 Brunners Bread, Ty Cobb.
Alterations: Cleaned, pressed.
Yellow circles are the common print marks/flaws between both cards.
Red boxes show the pressed out wrinkle.
Blue boxes show the removal of glue and paper residue.
With this latest D304 Cobb, we can conclude that all copies of this card that have passed through PWCC's doors are altered in some way. I debated whether or not to post this card, as the removal of glue residue is deemed acceptable by some. I'm posting this to show just how pervasive the alteration scheme is at PWCC. No card can be left alone. Every card must be improved.
Sold by Robert Edward Auctions (as an SGC 10/1) on October 17, 2015 for $5,100 to an unknown buyer.
Then sold by PWCC (as a PSA 1.5) on October 8, 2017 for $7,211.
