Card: 1915 Cracker Jack, Ty Cobb.
Alterations: Bleached.
Yellow circles are the common print marks/flaws between both cards.
This is probably the most dramatic bleaching treatment on a card seen to date. It's so obvious that I didn't really need to put the yellow circles to show the print flaws. What's funny about this is that despite such a thorough cleaning to the cardstock, it received no grade bump, remaining a PSA 2. Still, the card doctor made a sizeable profit. I will let the images speak for themselves. Amazing.
Sold by Heritage Auctions (as a PSA 2) to an unknown buyer on May 14, 2016 for $3,824.
Then sold by PWCC (as a PSA 2) on October 8, 2017 for $5,958.58.
Gain: $2,134.58
