Prior Grade: PSA 3 cert# 16123769
Card: D304 Brunner's Bread, Ty Cobb.
Alterations: Bleached, badly damaged.
Yellow circles are the common print marks/flaws between both cards.
Red boxes show the removal of stains on the front and back of the card along with the rounded corners.
A disastrous attempt at cleaning. The top left corner basically disintegrated and was rounded off, along with the other 3 corners. A speck of paper loss on the top left corner expanded. The back is visibly whitened by the bleach. This scarce card is the 5th D304 (2nd Cobb) card discovered so far. Sad.
Sold by Robert Edward Auctions (as a PSA 3) on October 29, 2017 for $14,400 to an unknown buyer.
Then sold by PWCC (as a PSA 2.5) on September 9, 2018 for $14,600.
