The 31 card submission pictured below and some cards from within it have been posted in other threads on BO. I wanted to post this separately to showcase this submission which was recreated after an anonymous tip was given to SuperDan regarding the E93 Honus Wagner PSA 4 in which it was intimated the card had been altered by Daniel Paul (aka Daniel Desmond) on behalf of Brent Huigens.
This submission consists of 31 cards. 16 cards appear to have failed to grade. Of the 15 cards that did grade, 12 were subsequently sold by PWCC between April 2018 and June 2018 (3 garnering stickers for eye appeal) and 3 cards within the submission have not yet been sold publicly, or at least sales cannot be located.
Of the 12 cards that were sold by PWCC, in all 12 instances these cards have been identified as having previously resided in different holders. And in all 12 instances, despite some having no change in grade, each card underwent some form of an alteration that has changed its appearance, obviously in an effort to improve the grade. These 12 cards originally were sold by various auction houses or eBay sellers over more than a 21 month period. In one of those instances—the 1954 Wilson Franks Williams PSA 5 -- the card was bought from PWCC using Gary Moser’s id. As for the remaining 11 cards, while I cannot elaborate, I know that at least in some instances the buyer was none other than Brent Huigens himself.
It is inconceivable that this submission was made by more than one person/entity. All 12 of the cards that reappeared wound up in PWCC auctions over a short period despite having been purchased over a 21 month period. It is therefore an inescapable conclusion that all of these cards were bought by Brent Huigens or by his proxy (like an employee ) and altered by Brent or someone to whom he sourced the work. Sales from just 12 cards in the submission resulted in almost an $11,000 profit.
The significance of this thread is not only to point out that Brent is buying cards and either altering them himself or contracting with someone who is altering them on his behalf but to put into perspective the scope of his fraud. I picked one submission to focus on and more than half of the cards that were submitted did not grade. 12 of the 15 cards that graded, were sold and all 12 cards were altered. This is just one very small submission. I have posted more than 170 submissions that encompass nearly 11,000 cards. So far 312, Dan and Corndog have been successful in finding roughly 500 cards of those 11,000 cards. Don’t believe for a second this is because only 500 cards are altered. It is because of the time it takes do make a photographic match sometimes searching several dozen images on multiple websites for each card. Just as the 500 identified altered cards do not represent all of the bad cards out of the 11,000 listed, the 170 submissions do not represent all of the submissions that Brent has made which contain altered cards.

The current owner of the card maintains no color was added to this card and what appears to have been a print spot on the PSA 3 version of this card was in fact debris on the PSA 3 holder.
