Card: 1948 Leaf, Warren Spahn
Alterations: Botched cleaning, damaged in the process.
Yellow circles are the common print marks/flaws between both cards.
Red boxes show removal of stains. (Note: Not sure if spot under eye was re-colored. Scans too blurry, but it sure looks like more than stain removal.)
Blue boxes show damage caused by cleaning.
CAUTION: This 1948 Leaf Warren Spahn is one of at least a dozen purchased by Moser over the last decade, and many of them have blurry photos and missing back scans, thus rendering them untraceable. Any mid-to-high grade 1948 Leaf Spahn sold by PWCC without ironclad provenance should be considered suspect.
Sold by eBay seller sunnydays3 (as a PSA 3) on June 22, 2008 for $114.15 to Moser's whitman111 account.
Re-sold by PWCC (as a PSA 4) on May 8, 2017 for $208.50.
