Within the Tyranitar community group I started, we immediately started investigating, as we had some ideas of original sources of this card. @istaycollecting completed an outstanding peice of work - identifying the origins of the PSA 10 card, originally coming from a PSA 8 that was regraded. It’s extremely apparent from the holo pattern and even the centering that the two cards are the same. However, the scans show that all the whitening on each corner of the PSA 8 is no longer there.
Trimming? Recoloring? We can’t be certain- but it’s 99.99% likely they are the same card, and the whitening has disappeared.
